From start-up to pharmaceutical logistics elite
From 2003 with 2,000 pallet spaces in Gütersloh until today:
Over 65,000 square metres of warehouse space, state-of-the-art technology and a leading role in pharmaceutical logistics.
We stand for bold decisions, healthy growth and innovative solutions – we set standards and revolutionise healthcare logistics.
2003
Kick-off – SK Pharma Logistics is founded in October by Stephan Krone in Gütersloh – on a 2,000-square-metre site with 2,000 pallet bays.
2006
We’re expanding – a second premises is built in Augustdorf.
2008
Under a single roof – relocation to Herford with an expansion to 8,500 pallet bays and GMP certification for the new site.
2017
Relocation to Bielefeld – SK Pharma Logistics relocates its headquarters to the newly built warehouse.
2019
Further expansion – a second warehouse opens in Bielefeld, and total storage area expands to 41,000 square metres.
2022
Breaking new ground – a new logistics centre is built in Herford, increasing the total warehouse space to 61,000 square metres. There is also a new production facility for secondary packaging. The founder prepares for company succession, while Syz Capital and Saturnus Capital join as new majority shareholders.
2023
A new chapter – construction of a new 4,000-square-metre packaging hall in Bielefeld, for GMP and non-GMP packaging work. At the same time, a new management team takes the helm.
